About the housing, the room and the apartment is exactly like the pictures, all is always clean and the people around you makes you feel like you are part of the family. The neighborhood is in general quiet, just a few blocks from Steinway so it's ok for shopping. All the way down 30th ave is full of a wide variety of places to eat and you can have access easily to public trasportation (bus and train station). It's a nice place to live the Astoria experience but it's also very close (about 15 to 20 minutes) to Manhattan, so you can have the action of the city too.

Her house is warm, the atmosphere is always happy, and it makes you feel at home. Yeah, that's it. Petya's house is your family house in New York. Nothing better than this. You share the space with cool and interesting people! She has many locations all around the Big Apple, but let me spend a pair of words about her house in Queens. The location is wonderful, you're in Astoria (Queens) 30 seconds far from the subway station that will get you to Manhattan in 10 minutes or less. The biggest advantage in living in Astoria is that everything costs half compared to Manhattan!! Restaurants, supermarkets, bars, stores... everything is cheaper!! As soon as I get to NY again, I'll go visit Petya and hopefully I'll stay at that house once more. I'd definitely recommend this fantastic woman!! I love her and I will never forget the time spent by her side.. THANK YOU PETYA. YOU'RE SPECIAL!!

Petya just brims over with positivity and the atmosphere is always great when she is around. She is such a symphatetic and open-minded person, I think it is simply impossible not to feel comfortable when you stay with her. I got to know many people who lived at her place. Because Petya is such a helpful person, they all felt at home very, very soon and everybody I met was so happy to be there. Some were even making plans to extend their stay in NYC because they felt so good staying with Petya. She knows all the great places to visit in NYC and makes you part of a group of friends, and It will never get boring if you are a part of that group. Her apartment is very nice, clean and tidy and the location is great to get to Manhattan in no time. Briefly, staying with her is a VERY good choice to make! When I come back to NYC, I will definitely make that choice!

She really puts in a ton of effort into organizing outings / gatherings for her tenants, and that makes us feel like we're part of one big happy family. Her aunt Destina is such a wonderful person. I enjoyed staying with her every single minute. The accommodation was also great. It is conveniently located, and the place is not too bad at all!
