About our homestay

AVAILABILITY SUMMER 2019

We are a cheerful household, who have looked after guests of many nationalities. We live in a typical British home, with a nice garden and lovely views over the countryside. We have wireless internet access in the house. The nearest bus route is a 2-3 minute walk from our house, and it takes approximately 20 minutes to reach the town centre.

Accommodation is a Single Room in a Three Bedroomed Semi-Detached House. A Double Room may also be provided at times for shorter visits and there is the option for us to re-arrange our rooms to accommodate two people in one room. Rates for this can be negotiated. Shared Living Room, Kitchen, Bathroom, Seperate Toilet Downstairs, Garden, Patio/Balcony Area. Washing will be done regularly by myself (Linda). Meals included are Breakfast and Evening Meal. Bedding and Towels can be provided, but not Beach Towels. The house has Central Heating, Double Glazed Windows.

Preference :

Ideally I would like a non-smoking guest, however if you don't mind stepping outside to smoke, then it's not a problem. There are usually two females living in the house, guests of either gender are welcome. We would like someone over the age of 21 ideally, but would consider younger. We have looked after guests as young as 12 in the past so get in touch as we can be flexible. We are unfortunately not able to cater for special diets, ie Kosher, Halal, Gluten Free, etc, but we can try and work around an allergy to a particular food type. Vegetarians are not a problem! We welcome guests with basic English language skills, but must be able to understand everyday conversation - we will help all we can with the learning process.

Family member :

Myself - Linda, the cat - Noo Noo, sometimes my daughter - Melodie (although she works away a lot).
